William Shakespeare’s Haunted House

The Faux-Real Theater Company presents William Shakespeare’s Haunted House, the annual show that mixes Shakespeare’s classic plays with an interactive performance sure to please children and adults. This is a site-specific theatrical event in which the ghost of Shakespeare himself rises from the dead and brings the spirits of his most famous characters back to life. Shakespeare rules his creations with an iron fist, but they are rebelling against him and breaking out of their scripted destinies. As the audience is led through the “haunted house,” they encounter characters such as Macbeth and the witches, Hamlet, Caliban, Romeo and Juliet, each one speaking the words penned for them over four hundred years ago.
