Chain Lightning Theatre presents When Real Life Begins by Karen Sunde. Based on the true and inspiring story of Kricker James and Claire Higgins–the founders of Chain Lightning Theatre–this play traces the journey of a passionate romance between Sam, an artistic director diagnosed with cancer, and Anne, the vibrant woman who loves him. As Sam gets weaker from the disease, his acting becomes increasingly more powerful, leading Anne to realize her own calling in the theater and embrace who she really is. Ken Marini directs.
