Artemis & The Wild Things (ATWT) presents William Shakespeare’s Troilus & Cressida. Directed by Robin Reese, this production features live, original music composed and performed by Paul Hansen. This show also stars Marilyn Duryea.
Set in a modern day “war” room, an all female cast portrays some of Western culture’s greatest warriors. Only this time, Helen is not a flesh and blood woman but a product companies Troy and Greece are vying for. And two lovers with ties to the different camps are falling in love, or is it lust? Will Cresida remain faithful to Troilus? Will these two teams fight fairly? Probably not. Is war ever fair? This devilish adaptation features live music and a crew of warriors that would make even Xena run for her life.
