Tortoise Shout

The poetry of D.H. Lawrence is at the center of TORTOISE SHOUT, a new multimedia perfomance work from the Mystic Theatre. The piece begins with a passage from Lawrence’s poem of the same name. Verses from the works of other poets are interspersed throughout, including Ted Hughes, Thomas Lynch, Anne Sexton, and e.e. Cummings. Eight actors will interpret the poems through readings, movement and song.-dlm
