In This is a Play, a group of actors perform a melodramatic story about family secrets, hidden identities, and the relentless search for truth. While the actors go through the movements associated with the story, they frequently drop the dialogue to speak aloud their amusing thoughts on the acting profession, the lame script they’ve been given, and their less-than-adequate fellow thespians.
