About This Show

Shakespeare’s rarely-done comedy, presented in the usual Deptford style – uncut and set in the time and place the playwright set the action. The Deptford Players give special attention to overlooked classical plays; plays that are rarely produced but which are deserving of production.
They consider these classical plays to be the history of theatre and of our culture and, at their best, a study of them is a study of the human condition.
