The Overwhelming Urge to be Completely Destroyed

After the unexpected death of a former classmate, eight distant friends convene in the suburb of their youth to celebrate, grieve, and reconcile their shared past and diverging futures. Based on a true story, this fast-paced dark comedy explores language, sexuality, anxiety and love. The play was written by Sam Wood, who is making his New York debut, and directed by Lea Hulsey.
