About This Show

The Nuclear Family is an entirely new kind of spontaneous, improvised musical theater that follows a day in the life of each of three family members, from when they leave the breakfast table to when they return home for dinner. Witness bizarre misadventures, shocking revelations, and the airing of dirty laundry — and be back home in time for mom’s pot roast at 7 o’clock.

Every show is different with this innovative group of improv performers who take on the roles of an entire family through the power of singing, dancing, acting and a nifty collection of wigs. After three years of performing in New York and around the country – and a recent pilot for the Sundance Channel – the trio reunites for the Festival to take new audiences on a musical journey into the strange, hilarious and murky depths of the American Family. Bring your loved ones and a sense of humor!
