The New Kid

The NYC Premiere of a powerful and dramatic new musical by The People Garden composer/lyricist Paul Armento, The New Kid tells the story of Zack, a new boy at a school plagued by social problems like cliques, bullying, and peer pressure. When asked to join a gang of bullies, Zack sees an opportunity to start afresh as a “popular” kid, but soon finds he’s not comfortable in his new personality. In an edge-of-your-seat conclusion, Zack confronts and overthrows the social order of the entire school!
