The Mermaid

Ouroboros presents Amantha May’s The Mermaid as part of the New York International Fringe Festival. This is the dreamlike story of Maggie, a giantess and performer with a growing affinity for water. In a surreal and often dark landscape, Maggie confronts her surrogate/stage mother, resulting in discoveries about responsibility, survival, and the gift/curse of creativity.
