About This Show

The Lab @ St. Marks provides an uncensored forum open to the artists in residence at Horse Trade. Original works are presented; sometimes raw, sometimes polished. The artists will draw upon critical feedback from audience and peers as well as the unusual layout of the space, which lends itself to explorations in staging and direction. ADMISSION IS FREE!

Performances are on the last Tuesday of each month.

JUNE 25th–Ruby Rose Luvchild Productions/Luvchild Theatre Ensemble Presents: ?The Colors We Bleed?
–Written by Jeffrey Collins-Harper / Directed by Geoffrey Grady Balance. Control. Answers. We all strive for them. Some gain them. Some do not. Is anyone’s struggle greater than another’s? Are we alone in a crowd? The show invites the audience to become voyeurs of a world of people each doing what they must to survive or regain their balance.
AND
?Welcome to My Momentum?
–Written by Ron Stroman / Directed by Sean Richards
Like the proverbial needle trying to find the groove in the well-played vinyl record of life, this piece reflects, respects, and reconciles the events that shaped this individual. Giving him his momentum he has a good beat he can dance to as he takes the podium of his own American Bandstand “We’re Goin? Hoppin”.
