About This Show

LAByrinth Theater Company, a 10 year-old multicultural ensemble, challenges its members to create new works over their annual summer intensive. The Barn Series (produced by David Deblinger) gives writers and directors beginning workshops and readings to help further develop their work and offers the public a sneak peek into how LAByrinth chooses its season.

This year, the series features Open, written, developed, and performed by the LAByrinth ensemble under the direction of LAByrinth co-founder?s John Ortiz. Also featured are new works by returning writers Michael Puzzo and Daniel Harnett and a new project from returning LAByrinth director John Gould Rubin.
