About the Show
Kira Obolensky’s The Adventures of Herculina receives a staged reading by The Hourglass Group. Herculina’s adventures take her from a French convent school to an encoutner with Sarah Bernhardt, from the boudoir of a bawdy British prostitute to a sideshow of freaks. The play raises questions of gender, sexuality, and above all, the essence of love.
