Tender, a queer dance play

Created by Fresh Peach Dance, Julia Havard (Harvard ’11), Emma DeGrand (NYU ’11), and Bex Kwan (Harvard ’14), Tender is a dance play about a couple that is coping with intimate trauma. The show is sweet, sexy, and strange; there’s a really cute robot and a seed of queer advocacy
that grows and grows. Using dance to deepen dialogue and vice versa, the project is fueled by evolving ideas about what it means to recover, to love, to consent.
