Jeff Cohen’s new version of Moliere’s comedy Tartuffe features Gerald Anthony in the title role, as well as Crista Moore and Keith Reddin in the supporting cast. The play is the classic comedy of a religious imposter who dupes a wealthy family of its home and possessions. Cohen’s new version, written in rhyming couplets and iambic pentameter, sets the story as a screwball comedy in 1930s Manhattan.
