Sweet Butterfly on an Alligator’s Lip

Gus Smythe directs Sweet Butterfly on an Alligator’s Lip, a new comedy by Richard Lay. Lavinia, a wealthy socialite with nothing much to do except pop anti-depressant pills and drink champagne, lives with a fellow former-inmate from an asylum, her anxious to please, black butler, Buster. Their friend from institution days is Pump, an engaging but devious character who comes to visit with his new friend Vanya, a cunning waif with many motives.
