Breakthrough off-off Broadway theater company Monster(less) Actors will present the New York premiere of esteemed British playwright Howard Baker’s SEVEN LEARS. Beginning with the death of his younger twin brothers, the audience follows Lear through adolescence to his ascension to the crown. Finally we meet the beforehand unmentionable queen, Clarissa, the birth of his three daughters Goneril, Cordelia and Regan and the ill-fated succession of incidents that lead to the madness displayed in Shakespeare?s King Lear.
