About This Show

Same Difference addresses how people of the three monotheistic faiths in NYC – Christians, Jews, and Muslims – relate to themselves, their communities, and to people of other faiths before and after 9/11. The piece is based on over 100 interviews conducted by and with members of the three faiths and beyond. Twelve actors/singers/dancers switch from story to story moving through subjects such as histories, food and dating, conflicts in love and marriage, power of the media, reactions to 9/11, and possible paths to reconciliation to invoke the feeling of a city in motion.
