About This Show

Horse Trade Theater Group and Aporia Productions present Rockshow, with book by Paul Stancato, music/lyrics by Chris Blisset, Matt Uremovich & Paul Stancato and directed by James Alexander Bond.

The performance explores one fictionalized night in the rock n’ roll career of the real-life band Group Therapy. Equal parts a rock concert and a play, Rockshow centers on the inner workings of a band on the brink of success. Tensions mount and insecurities rise as the relationships within the band are pushed to the limits. On stage as in real-life, they grapple with questions: Are they young enough? Will they break into the big time? A live, no-holds-barred behind-the-scenes look at the music biz, Rockshow is a shot of pure rock theatre with an adrenaline chaser.
