Rearviewmirror

Rearviewmirror takes its inspiration from both Euripides’ The Bacchae and the tragic events of the Pearl Jam concert at the 2000 Roskilde Festival. Three twentysomethings – two spoiled kids from a Massachusetts suburb and an emotionally wounded young woman from a sheltered Brooklyn Orthodox communuty – embark on a search for meaning in a world devoid of faith, finding solace in loud music, deviant sex, 70s films, and a growing cult of Dionysian proportions.

A post-show talk with the playwright and director follows the Saturday afternoon performance.
