David Milch directs Jason Sherman’s controversial 1996 play Reading Hebron for Relatively Theater. In 1994, Dr. Baruch Goldstein, a Jewish settler from the West Bank, opened fire on a room of Muslims at prayer in a mosque in Hebron. The play examines Nathan Abramoqitz’s obsession with finding the truth behind the Hebron Massacre so that he can understand his own responsibility and his identity.
There is an additional performance on Wednesday, May 22 at 8:00pm.
