In Potty Mouth, spoken word performer turned comic monologuist Andy Horwitz tells (mostly) true tales of sex in the city while riffing on a variety of topics – gay, straight, and in-between. As a self-proclaimed “bear cub” among Chelsea pretty boys, this “Dirty Gay Roseanne” examines his own sexual obsessions with a hilarious and critical eye. Following his nose (and other parts) into all kinds of trouble, he explores body image, being Jewish, Gay Disney, the advantages of talking dirty, and his hypothesis that Will and Grace is just the gay Amos and Andy. The stories, which blend seamlessly together during the hour-long show include the provocatively titled “Orgies of the Damned,” “Misadventures in Fitness” and the crowd-pleaser “Oh My God, I Have My Nose Buried in Some Fat Guy’s Ass.” Obviously these are not stories for the squeamish!
