Place Like This, A

A Place Like This is the new play, written and directed by C.J. Hopkins. Produced by The Present Company, this production is a piercingly funny, at times heartbreaking meditation on the state of the American theater and the society it reflects. Without a story, without characters, a large ensemble of players on a “bare bones” set dispenses with formalities and tries to get to the heart of certain questions having to do with the essence of the theatrical event.
