About This Show

oldfriends.com is a new play by Cape Cod writer Marcia J. Monbleau. It takes place over a one-year period, set in the New England home of Katherine Whittemore (Pat Carroll), a retired New England professor, and the London flat of Valerie Kent (Patricia Conolly), an English actress. Lifelong friends, the women are now an ocean apart, but have discovered the wonder and convenience of e-mail! Via the Internet, they continue to share their lives almost on a daily basis through a series of monologues. Together the women face decisions, experience loss, and share significant events, connected by their laptops and a lifetime of friendship and love.
