Guacamolink Performing Arts., a Hispanic theater company returns to the Manhattan stage with an original work written and directed by Peruvian playwright Walter Ventosilla, inspired by Sophocles’ Greek tragedy “Oedipus Rex”. “Oedipus” is the first of its kind as Emely Grisanty enacts all roles in this 75-minute tour de force.

Ventosilla has over forty years of theatrical experience in his home country of Peru, in Europe and the U.S. Dominican actress Emely Grisanty was recently honored with the ATI 2014 Award for Best Actress in Independent Theatre in New York. Previously she was nominated as a Best Actress in the Monologues category.
