About This Show

Coy flirtation turns into a dangerous game when a Count?s daughter decides to have her fun with her father?s valet, Jean. Who seduces whom and what happens when the carefully balanced hierarchy is betrayed? Filled with emotionally provocative themes that are surprisingly relevant today, this play shows how unbridled desires and unseen social forces push Julie and Jean to determine their own savage fate. Alexandra Farkas directs and adapts August Strindberg’s classic work, Miss Julie. Presented by Green Chinchilla in association with Inverse Theater.
