About This Show

Franz Kafka’s famed surrealistic story METAMORPHOSIS will be re-interpreted through theater and dance. With an original adaptation and choreography by Cati Blanche and George Bennett, the character of Gregor wakes to find himself transformed into an ungeheures Ungeziefer (horrible vermin). Two actors, intertwining their bodies to move in complete symbiosis, will perform the production in eccentric dance movement. Realistic acting and surreal dance are blended to tell a story that twists in and out of realities, converges on bizarre crossings and shows complexities of perspective.
