Love Research

Since this past April, performance artist Karen Sorensen has conducted candid interviews with over 100 New Yorkers who stopped to answer 5 questions about love in exchange for a flower. The result is Love Research, a performance piece that not only discloses her research results, but also includes the audience as part of the experiment. Part storyteller, part personal narrative, and part scientific experiment, the piece sheds light on the most confounding of all human emotions while also revealing rarely seen sides of the average New Yorker.
