About the Show
Written by Pedro Calderon de la Barca (“the Spanish Shakespeare”), Life is a Dream is the story of a prince locked in a tower to prevent a prophecy claiming that he would become a tyrant. When the prince is finally freed, he must prove to his people whether or not the prophecy is true, while at the same time deciding for himself what is reality and what is a dream.
