About This Show

Politics, art and music experienced major and often revolutionary changes during the 60’s, one of the most turbulent, yet exciting decades of the twentieth century. The 92nd Street Y’s Comparing Notes series brings together three men who played prominent, though very different roles in that decade’s cultural and political history; radio personality “Cousin Brucie” Morrow, popular artist Peter Max and Senator Eugene McCarthy. They join moderator Leonard Lopate, host of WNYC talk show New York and Company and share their unique perspectives about the changes brought on by this revolutionary decade.
