kef productions presents I Have a Better Idea, a series of Solo Performances by Women. The series features two women per week. The performers include Lauren Weedman (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart – Comedy Central), Kathryn Blume (co-founder, Lysistrata Project) Cheryl King (Artistic Director, NY Solo Play Lab), Susan Ferrara (Voted Chicago’s Best Character Actor), Marta Rainer (2004 Edinburgh Festival) and Jan Rudd (2003 Funny Women Fest).

I Have a Better Idea is a celebration of theatre written and performed by some of New York’s strongest and most talented women. The series of solo performances ranges from Russian literary history to the sexual history of a modern woman. I Have a Better Idea introduces us to the women who bear everything from the crosses of Catholicism to the curses of group therapy; from the fantasy of freedom to the reality of war.
