A play about the futility of war and its consequences. America may have departed from Afghanistan, but Afghanistan hasn’t left Staff Sergeant Joel Molloy. A combat veteran, Joel embarks on a surreal journey of self-discovery, atonement and redemption. He hears a disembodied Voice, asking him to go on a mission. Facing a number of obstacles along the way, he finally arrives at his destination. He discovers that he has made this journey many times before, each time getting closer to understanding who he is and what he needs to do.
