Green California, written & directed by Danny Zyne, offers an original, exhilarating and completely visceral exprience. California is a punk band. Drugs dominate their income. Drugs dominate their rehearsals. And on this particular night, it dominates their lives. And not in a good way. Marijuana causes cloudy minds, cocaine cause violent behavior, and heroin causes a false death. Band turmoil will come to a breaking point. Some bandmembers resort to crimes of addiction, some can’t help but watch the train wreck and some want to flee the scene. It’s not pretty how things end for these long time best friends.
