About This Show

The Theatre Division at Columbia’s University’s Graduate School of the Arts and acclaimed director Robert Woodruf present this theatrical meditation on French auteur Jean-Luc Godard. Godard (distant and right) uses text, characters and images drawn from over 30 films by famed French filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard. Part theatrical collage, part homage, and part collision with the filmmaker’s groundbreaking aesthetic, this show examines the world, both real and imagined, of one of the great artists of the second half of the 20th century.
