About This Show

MT Company presents two original movement theatre pieces. The company is dedicated to a physical, collaborative approach while generating courageous new work for the theatre.

Conceived and directed by Julie Troost, Fredem asks what freedom means to us today in America, responding to a time when our freedoms are slowly being compromised. The piece explores our unspoken as well as obvious freedoms while giving poignant reference to key historical events that influences our definition. This mixed-media collage of text and physicality push the envelope to redefine what the theatre experience can be.

Conceived and directed by Elizabeth Mozer, Blood and Honey takes us on a moving journey of intimacy and gender. Using movement as the primary language with the support of an eclectic text and musical score, this production magnifies behavior learned and authentic. Ms. Mozer, in collaboration with cast members, creates an image driven physical theatre that explores the woman’s experience and our sensual relationship to time and space.
