The glittered-up memories of a Green Bean Queen, Faye Lane’s Beauty Shop Stories is a funny, inspiring and upbeat chronicle of Faye’s childhood in her mama’s beauty shop in Texas told through poignant story and stirring song. As a fat little girl sitting on the front porch in a glittered-up Burger King crown with a MoonPie in her hand, she dreamed of telling stories and singing songs on the stage in New York City. Now it’s just Faye, a microphone and a piano. Have all her glamorous fantasies come true?
