Exhibit This: The Museum Comedies is what would happen if the Metropolitan Museum of Art were to come to life. This is a fast-paced series of comedic plays and monologues based on more than 40 different works of art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
What happens when paintings, sculptures, antiquities, drawings, and fertility gods emerge from their molds, frames, and cases? How will artists, guards, critics, lovers, and curators react to this peculiar situation?
The play has won 4 Samuel French Finalist Awards, an OOBR award, and the 2006 Perry Award for Best Original Production in New Jersey Theatre.
