About This Show

Performer/puppeteer Dan Hurlin presents a two-part evening of “object theater.” Everyday Uses for Sight: Nos. 3 and 7 knits together visual themes, movement, and text. A young peeping Tom watches erotic scenarios unfold in silhouettes behind a neigbor’s window. A photographer meets a tragic death, crushed by the building he shot. These are just a couple of the arresting images in this performance, which features original music by Dan Froot and Guy Klucevsek. The work draws upon autobiographical events to examine the pleasurable, sometimes threatening, world of “looking.”

This show contains nudity and may not be appropriate for all audiences. There will be a post-performance discussion following the Friday show.
