About This Show

A collaborative and highly physical new theatrical work exploring contemporary anxiety and anticipation in Manhattan. Loosely based on Schoenberg’s opera ERWARTUNG (the German word for expectation), the show will explore levels of anxiety, from the mundane to the transcendental, caused by various types of expectation in contemporary Manhattan. In this dark-cabaret style comedy, the characters try to safely navigate in a post 9/11 NYC while waiting for the next bad thing to come along, whether it’s a mouse in your apartment or another terrorist attack.
Directed by Yuval Sharon.

Appropriate for audiences 12 and up.
