About the Show
Erendira is Kristin Marting’s newest theatre piece, inspired by Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s The Incredible and Sad Tale of Innocent Erendira and Her Heartless Grandmother, using Marting’s signature “gestural vocabulary.” This dark fairy tale magnifies family, abuse, and murder through the lens of Marquez’s magical realism. Live music, puppetry, video, and dance create a vibrant, saturated dreamscape.
Opening night takes place on Monday, February 24 @ 8:30pm.
