Electra (Euripides)
An offering of any kind
A band of actors grapples with the nature of morality and sacrifice in Electra (Euripides), set in modern day Greece. Through the actions of The Chorus and the flow of the original score, a princess and her long lost brother are roused to kill their mother, a bloody event which ends in regret. There will be a festival to follow this 50 minute adaptation by Adrienne Kennedy, praising the gods for allowing the play to take place.
