Okay campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties because this February, Drunk Restoration Comedy is getting a little loopy with a reading of A Day of Groundhog! A hilarious Shakespearean adaptation from Robert Price of the cult classic Groundhog Day, come find out if Punxsutawney Phil will ever see his shadow on Friday, February 2, at 10pm at the Players Theatre in the West Village! The premise of Drunk Restoration Comedy: Our team of brave (or just crazy?) actors, comedians, and improvisers will perform a reading of a classical piece of theater. The catch: They'll be doing so while heavily under the influence. Even better, this interactive evening will give audience members a chance to choose their own adventure and dictate which performers get totally sloshed and which are sent packing. Anything could happen; come find out what does!
