Gideon Productions debuts Dirty Juanita, the New York premiere of talented playwright Mac Rogers. The show explores a unique situation of domestic violence–between two male roommates. This drama tells the story of Cameron and Mickey, two college grads who move to New York and quickly have to face life without their old support systems in an unfamiliar place. When Tina, a Brooklyn native, enters their insular world, she becomes both witness to and participant in the disintegration of their relationship–spanning the perils of city life, the indignities of temp jobs, and the shocking way that the abused can become the abuser.
