New York City
The Vortex Theater Company presents Conversations With the Pool Boy, a revival of Robert Coles’ comedy, directed by Andrew Glant-Linden. The play follows the story of the harried, overworked Arthur Silverstein. Arthur’s attempts at relaxation in the Virgin Islands are continually undermined by his host Stu, Stu’s nymphomaniac boyfriend Franz, his bickering lesbian neighbors Luella and Lisa Marie, and the wacky West Indian psychic Aranequa. Fortunately, Arthur finds solace in Kiki, a kid that cleans the pool.
There is a special Monday performance on January 7 at 8pm.
