The Joe Kelly Players perform the first of a series of theatrical meditations based on that noblest of the twentieth-century art forms: Cinema. Using stagecraft the players puncture the mythology of cinema magic and celebrate the great lies of film narrative. At the core are the central thematic concerns of modern filmmaking: the journey of a son in search of his father, the pursuit of a husband in search of his wife, and the question of whether a man can love a woman.
