Childr’n of “O”, Baraka de Soleil’s latest work with D Underbelly is a multimedia piece which weaves poetic text, gestural language and TV and computer-age symbolism to examine the voice and image of an iconic Black woman figure as they relate to contemporary legacies which permeate society.
