Florence Kelley’s greatest legacy was her example of unflaggling zeal and lifetime fidelity in the cause of justice for those oppressed by the worst excesses of early capitalism –children. in spite of her naturally impatient temperament, Florence Kelley remained a faithful fighter for a just society until her death in 1932 at the age of 74.
