Changing The Face of American Theater

The Classical Theater of Harlem announces it’s 2002-2003 season of Changing The Face of American Theater. This is a season of four plays, beginning with a new production of King Lear (July 10-Aug. 4). The season continues with Stanislaw Witkiewicz’s The Crazy Locomotive (Oct. 4-Oct. 27), August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Jan. 31-Feb. 23), and Jean Genet’s The Blacks: A Clown Show (March 28-April 20).

King Lear will be performed outdoors in the company’s Courtyeard Theater. The rest of the shows will be held at the HSA Theater.
