A tale of art and artists, inspiration and faith, The Bonfire of the Vanities and a Haiku-spouting parrot, Burning Botticelli interweaves three worlds – the mythical Navajo world in the Arizona desert, the classical Renaissance world in Florence, and the post-modern art world in contemporary New York – and explores the identities of three artists as they grapple with their public and the force of their own inspiration.
This performance is presented as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.
