Set in a household of whirling dysfunction, Bunny’s Last Night in Limbo begins with the exaggerated icons of family values: a beauty-obsessed mother; a drunken, media-crazed father; and a lonely cheerleader sister. Then there’s Bunny, whom the other characters take turns abusing, smothering, envying, and adoring. Enter a beautiful stranger, which sends the innocent Bunny on a journey of self-discovery and ultimately revealing the intensely confusing experience of growing up gay in a family of strangers. Peter Patralia directs his new play for proto-type.
